ECS is seeking a Web Software Developer to work in our Bethesda, MD office / Remote.
Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support to maintain, and document, an online training environment built on ASP.NET and MS-SQL database
- Support efforts to upgrade and/or enhance current training system.
- Provide support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the web-site. Provide support for the implementation of interfaces to applications.
- Provide tier 2-3 support for issues related to web application.
- Develop, deliver, and track user completion of agency annual security and privacy awareness training course. Develop, deliver, and track user completion of information security role-based training courses to provide agency users (federal employees and contractors) with the knowledge needed to achieve the information security vigilance for protecting systems, personnel, and information.
- Review and update the security awareness courses and role-based security training courses aligned with industry best practices and the NICE Framework to Computer-Based Training (CBT).
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating the agency CBT system, that presents annual training, as well as the tracking system that monitors compliance.
- Develop and maintain a list of upcoming conferences, events, and training courses germane to the scope of agency cyber mission to utilize.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency at developing and maintaining training websites in Active Server Pages (ASP) and .NET with MS SQL 2019 backend database.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and leadership.
Certifications/Licenses:
- 4-year college degree (or equivalent exp)
- 8 years of Cyber Training or related discipline.
Desired Skills:
- Integration with external data services and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of several of the following areas is desirable: Java, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, Visual Basic, HTML, DBMS's (ex. – MS-SQL 2019).
- Experience with UI/UX design practices, Unit Testing, and JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
- Industry knowledge of COTS online-training platforms for likely migration.
