Assistant Concrete Laboratory Manager

• Assisting the Lab Manager with supervision of all activities related to construction materials laboratory testing including performing laboratory tests on construction materials, interpreting test data, and preparing reports and/or summaries of test data
• Maintaining an organized lab in compliance with QA/QC initiatives and accreditation requirements
• Additional responsibilities include calibration of laboratory equipment and maintenance of calibration schedule and records
• Performing field and/or lab testing and performing administrative duties, as appropriate
• Other responsibilities may include marketing and business development

• High school diploma, or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred.
• 2-4 years related experience.
• It is required that lab certifications applicable to the lab work performed be accomplished within the 90 day introductory period. Lab certifications applicable to the lab work performed must be successfully completed within 270 days of employment. If managing both the soils and concrete labs, certifications are required for both laboratories.
