This provider will split their time between ECU Health Beaufort Hospital for unrestricted newborn call and Maynard Children’s Hospital Level IV NICU for day shifts for delivery attendance and high-risk neonatal care.
Hospital privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a 142-bed community hospital and the Maynard Children’s Hospital (MCH) at ECU Health Medical Center, the tertiary care Children’s Hospital.

Clinical responsibilities include: admission & management of newborn patients, provider coverage of newborn nursery at ECU Health Beaufort and interdisciplinary collaboration for care of high risk delivery attendance & care of neonates at Maynard Children’s Hospital level IV NICU
Supervising physician and physician support from active ECU pediatric physicians working within Maynard Children’s Hospital

Applicant Requirements:
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Experienced Physician Assistant with extensive NICU experience or post-graduate NICU fellowship
NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant
National Board Certification as a Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance
2 years of experience in health care setting
