Position Summary
- Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participates in the assessment of patients.
- Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
- Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development.
- Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.
Minimum Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- LPN Diploma
- Active NC LPN License or compact state
Other Information
- Department/Location: ECU Health Internal Medicine Clinic in Washington, NC
- This position is full-time - 32 hrs/week
- Shift 10 hrs x 4 days a week with occasional coverage needed for weekends
