The Assessment and Professional Development Coordinator in the Office of Assessment, Data Management, and Digital Learning provides essential support to members of the OADD Team, as well as to ECU Educator Preparation Program faculty, staff, and students.Responsibilities include:Assessment Coordination and Support (60%):• Provide leadership, communication, training, and logistical and technical support for the edTPA, and act as a liaison between the EPP and external edTPA entities (Pearson, SCALE).• Design, deliver, and update training and instructional materials on edTPA requirements and processes for faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.• Analyze and report on edTPA outcomes for program improvement, accreditation, and annual reporting purposes.• Maintain accurate edTPA submission records, score reports, and voucher code documentation.• Assist with internal review of annual Unit Assessment Reports.• Support faculty and staff with the validation of key assessments and surveys.• Analyze and report on key assessment, focus group, and survey results as part of continuous improvement and accreditation efforts.Professional Development Coordination (30%):• Collaborate with OADD team members to develop and facilitate asynchronous and synchronous technology and OADD service-related professional development modules and opportunities for faculty and staff.• Conduct needs analyses to identify professional development needs related to internal processes, instructional technology tools, and NC Digital Learning Competencies.• Create and deploy feedback mechanisms to ascertain the effectiveness of OADD professional development efforts and inform continuous improvement.• Ensure accuracy and consistency in the quality and appearance of training and professional development materials released by OADD.Data Management (10%):• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).• Perform statistical analysis, interpreting and evaluating results, and contributing to reports, presentations, and scholarly publications.• Provide research support for faculty on practice-based research projects.This position is contingent upon available funding.
