Mobile Integrated Community Paramedic

About the role

We are hiring qualified paramedics to conduct in-home wellness visits and facilitate a telehealth visit with a physician. Best Practice Medicine and our partners MedArrive have a mission to improve lives by bringing more humanity to healthcare.

The program allows EMS providers (EMTs and paramedics) to provide care in non-traditional settings under physicians' oversight via our telemedicine platform. Our company partners with EMS agencies to leverage their excess capacity on the labor supply side, health systems to gain access to overseeing physicians and payers to set up reimbursement pathways for these services.

Qualifications

• NC certified Paramedic
• AHA ACLS and PALS
• At least 1 year experience working as a paramedic
• Valid Driver's license and active vehicle insurance

This position is PRN/Temporary with the potential to extend to a more permanent position. Starting pay range is 28-32/hr. The appointments will run Tuesdays-Fridays from 0900-1900. Personal vehicle is used to travel to appointments and mileage is paid at the federal rate.
