What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Ed Debevic's?

Responsibilities
- Greet tables with the positive and enthusiastic demeanor
- Take and process orders in a timely and accurate fashion
- Memorize the drink and food menu
- Manage large groups through attentive service and accurate order taking
- Maintain a casual dining experience and handle guest complaints/requests quickly
- Upselling food and drink items and promoting specials
- Maintain quick table setups throughout your shift
- Pre-bus tables and maintain the cleanliness of server areas
- Opening, running, and closing duties, as well as sidewalk throughout shift
Requirements
- Full vaccination against COVID-19
- 1-2 years serving experience in a casual or fine dining restaurant
- Open availability preferred
- Knowledgeable in craft beer, wine basics, and cocktail basics
- Must be social, friendly, and outgoing
- Interested in and enthusiastic about entertainment
- Able to work in a high-volume environment
- Able to stand for the duration of shift
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Team-oriented and hospitality-driven
- Must be 21 or over
Entertainment
- Perform the choreographed dances every hour.
- Choose a recognizable character and become them.
- Participate and provide ongoing entertainment. Engage your customers.
