Warehouse & Delivery Supervisor

Edda’s Cake Company is a South Florida based wholesale and custom cake company. Our goals are to create top quality products and provide high quality customer service.

We are looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Representative to work under the company president and with retail store managers, to oversee the sales operations and promotions for our stores.

The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to generate new business, keep positive relationships with existing clients, and managing promotions. Additional daily responsibilities include, managing online store on Shopify, ensuring all physical marketing materials are up-to-date, and keep organized files of all projects.

Duties Include:

• Maintain professional relationships with existing hotel/venue accounts and actively assist them with any inquiries they may have
• Create target lists of potential B2B opportunities
• Schedule visits with new clients & existing accounts when necessary
• Become familiar with retail store operations (ie. Sales Rep responsibilities, menu contents, POS system, Wedding Cake appointment guidelines, etc.)
• Operate online sales tools such as Shopify online store, Uber Eats, and GrubHub to ensure they are operating correctly
• Manage official Edda’s online store. Responsibilities include adding/removing products, adjusting prices, troubleshooting order issues, etc.
• Run all email marketing campaigns using My Emma
• Ensure that all holiday or non-holiday promotions are consistent and well communicated to all channels (email, website, social medias, managers, sales staff)
• Work directly with graphic designer for needed marketing photos and graphics
• Keep marketing sites such as The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Yelp updated with recent photos and accurate store information
• Coordinate and attend promotional bridal shows
• Make sure all physical marketing materials such as, Menu Books, Albums, and Price Tags are all up-to-date and in good condition
• Meet regularly with company president to discuss project development and make recommendations for retail operations/marketing promotions

Additional Skills:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales.
• 2-3 years of marketing experience
• Bi-Lingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to listen and take direction
• Creative mind-set
• Strong organizational and planning skills
