What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Eddie's of Roland Park?
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the organization by performing special projects and assisting with general HR administration regarding talent acquisition, employee relations, employee benefits, payroll, HRIS, training and development, legal compliance, talent acquisition and recruitment, and other human resource functions. The HR Coordinator will ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
Responsibilities
· Process payroll, utilizing time clock/punch edit system,
· Provide timely assistance to internal customers regarding employee benefits and other human resource questions and issues,
· Recruit, interview, and hire non-exempt positions,
· Assist HR Director and line managers with employee relations concerns,
· Maintain employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance,
· Prepare new hire packets, employee benefit packets, and other employee related information,
· Coordinate employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and payments,
· Prepare employee census information for insurance, 401(k), and other reports,
· Provide written employment verifications,
· Coordinate new hire paperwork, and conduct new hire on-boarding meetings,
· Assist with updating and enhancing of training manuals, Human Resources manual, and employee handbook,
· Update job descriptions,
· Coordinate and schedule training classes or meetings,
· Post job postings on websites,
· Review candidate applications and disposition,
· Maintain the applicant tracking database,
· Review, screen, and maintain applications and resumes,
· Conduct background screenings for prospective employees,
· Coordinate the performance management processes,
· Assist with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resources issues,
· Coordinate benefit plan due diligence with Director, Human Resources,
· Assist in preparation of special events,
· Process Human Resources invoices, and
· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education, Certifications and/or Licenses:
Associates Degree
Preferred
Bachelors Degree
PHR or other Human Resource certification
Experience:
3 years Human Resources administrative experience
Knowledge/Skills:
Able to handle company and employee sensitive information on a regular basis,
Knowledge of processing payroll using punch edit clock/system,
Organized, detailed, and results oriented individual,
Deadline driven,
Professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills,
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines,
Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, and
Exceptional customer service attitude at all times.
