Packaging Technician and Production Assistant

Eddyline Brewery in Buena Vista, CO is seeking a packaging and production assistant. We are looking for a professional who is looking to start in the brewing industry. A successful packaging technician will play a key role in contributing to our high quality craft beer line and will learn and develop skills throughout their career at Eddyline. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Startup, shutdown canning or product lines. Ability to run and troubleshoot issues on the canning or product line.
• Use sanitary practices and ensure quality of product.
• Properly clean, sanitize and fill kegs.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the equipment.
• Ability to communicate and understand packaging logistics and schedule accordingly.
• Demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever changing environment
• Maneuver Carefully through tight spaces in a fast paced environment
• Safely run a forklift and manlift.
• Keep a tidy and clean work area at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout a shift.
• Maneuver up to 165 lbs
• Ability to work on feet (concrete floors) for up to 10 plus hours
• Attention to detail is top priority. An ideal candidate will be one who can maintain focus and stay extremely aware of their surroundings at all times.
• PPE including safety glasses and masks must be worn
• Ability to work well with a team of people under fast-paced conditions
• Although experience is not required preference will be given to those applicants with previous positions in breweries
• Load and unload trucks.
• Work efficiently and adhere to Eddyline’s values, policies and goals.

HOURS/BENEFITS:

• Hours Expected: 20 to 40 (with potential overtime)
• Salary Range: ($18-$24/hr) Starting hourly rate will vary depending on qualifications
