We are currently seeking exceptional teacher candidates for the 2023-2024 school year for a Health Teacher at Central Middle School.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the educational field
Applicants who will hold the following credentials by November 26, 2023 are welcome to apply. We will work with applicants whose license is in process.
- Minnesota Teacher License: Health, 6-8
  - We encourage all applicants to review the MN Tier License System as we will work with applicants in applying for various Tier licenses that they may qualify
  - The district is willing to request an out of field permission license as needed

Compensation & Paid Leave
- Starting salary for 1.0 FTE BA: $46,248 and MA: $56,760; licensed teaching experience considered for higher placement (pro rated based on FTE)
- Performance Awards available
- Up to 12 sick days and up to 1.5 personal days of leave given yearly
Health Insurance
- Medical premiums are covered by the district up to 100% for individual plans and up to $1,169 per month toward family plans. Dental premiums are fully covered by the district for individual and family plans. District contributions to VEBA/HRA accounts for select medical plans.
- Fully paid life insurance and long term disability premiums
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for pre-tax medical and dependent care
Retirement
- 403b with a district match of up to 2.25% of annual salary
- District contribution of 8.34% to MN Teacher Retirement Association (TRA)

Information based on the 2021-2023 master agreement. Will be updated with new school year agreement. Eligibility based upon effective date of employment.
