Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Transportation Manager monitors the safety and maintenance of vehicles and equipment and is responsible for the supervision and training of drivers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, and manages drivers
- Leads transportation meetings and attends IDT (interdisciplinary team) leadership meetings
- Ensures highest safety and quality of transportation program
- Ensures smooth scheduling and coverage of all transportation needs, including stepping in when necessary to cover scheduling and transportation

- GED or high school diploma required
- Prior supervisory experience in a transportation environment preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of one-year prior experience working with the frail or elderly is required.
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and criminal background check
- Must have a current Driver’s License and driving record must be in compliance with Company policy. Must maintain current automobile insurance.
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID vaccine, required
