Scope of Position:Provides day-to-day management & supervision of all on site BOP activities, including but not limited to execution of all work activities, supervision of all BOP employees and contractors at the site, reports, and other written and verbal communications between site and Management Team, customers, vendors
Responsibilities: % of time for each statement - Should equal 100% inc
15% - The implementation and supervision of Internal Control is under the responsibility of every manager within his/her scope of authority.
20% - Oversee the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of the Balance Of Plant (BOP) portion of the renewable project.
15% - Responsible for all BOP safety aspects on site including participation in the tower rescue program, periodic Safety Walks, including up-tower execution of safe work plans to achieve schedule adherence.
5% - Maintain written and oral communications with customers, management, vendors, contractors, etc.
5% - Responsible for the preparation and adherence to the approved O&M project budgets.
5% - Responsible for accurate inventory management & procurement activity of BOP spares.
5% - Responsible for Quality Control on site by performing periodic checks of work by contractors or EDFR employees performing BOP related work.
Maintaining all BOP project logs and records to ensure NERC compliance, if applicable.
5% - Responsible for reviewing/approving Work Requests while executing approved SAP business processes.
5% - Responsible for leading a Continuous Improvement approach toward the business.
5% - Responsible for business data collection, analysis, and project reports.
5% - Responsible for BOP plant performance and analysis with the goal of increased performance.
5% - Lead direct reporting employee’s performance review quarterly and evaluate the performance of each direct report at least annually through the use of written performance evaluations.
5% - All other job duties as assigned by the Senior Operations Manager and/or his or her designee.
Supervision of Others:
No Direct Reports.
Qualifications: (Degree/Certifications/License/Experience/Specialized Knowledge/Skills)
Working knowledge of wind industry best practices, general maintenance standards, and a common understanding of condition-based monitoring systems.
Ability to work well with subcontracted Construction personnel in resolution of issues identified in the field during that phase of a project.
Basic understanding of power generation equipment and operational performance metrics.
Education/Experience –
High school or equivalent (Required)Experience working with current technology wind turbines preferred. 3-5 years’ experience working in the wind-energy industry.
A minimum of 1-year current or previous experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
OSHA 10 training
Knowledge of electrical code and OSHA regulations
Ability to work independently
Focused on efficiency and removing labor hours from tasks or projects
Knowledgeable in all MS applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willing to travel on short notice

Able to work in an electrical environment. This may have been achieved through formal training, previous work experience, or the ability to demonstrate electrical skills.
Able to operate company vehicles (field trucks), both onsite as well as on public roads and highways. Must have a current driver’s license with a good DMV printout.
Demonstrate good work habits, including but not limited to attendance, and maintaining
a neat and orderly work environment.
Working Conditions:
50% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 50% of time is spent in the field supporting and visiting technicians, in additional to attending various meetings. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat and safety glasses always. Each job site may be different and must be accessed individually. Repetitive use of legs, arms, hands and fingers. Able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, overtime and night shifts as required. 25% of travel may be required based on needs of company.
Fiscal Responsibilities:Support site budget control by ensuring cost are within budget and repairs are made in a timely manner.
