Position Summary – The Shop/Yard Helper will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and provide daily support for the Maintenance and Mechanics teams by performing area-specific, job duties.
\n- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly shop and yard area.
- Use forklift to move materials and equipment
- Use man lift for equipment/facilities cleaning
- Sweeping, power washing, emptying trash
- General shop duties
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Assist mechanics with maintenance
- Performs other job duties as assigned and required.
- Must be safety conscious.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and follow directions given by leadership.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
