What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator / Millwright position at Edge Outdoors?
We are currently hiring Fabricator / Millwright . Applicants should have a variety of skills and experience in the steel industry. This is a position that requires multi-craft capability up to and including Welding, Fabricating, Mechanical Assembly, rigging, fitting and pipefitting.
Fabricator / Millwright Responsibilities:
- Stick & MIG Welding of structural Steel
- General Steel Fabrication: Layout, Drilling, Measuring, Cutting (Torch & Saw).
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Mechanical Assembly of pumps, motors and various mechanical devices
- Fitting a variety of pipe systems to include: Victaulic, Flange and screw pipe,
- Rigging and assembling foundation & shells for projects
- Alignment of equipment & Machines using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs
- Moving machinery and equipment using proper rigging techniques via hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
Fabricator / Millwright Qualifications:
- 5 Years Previous verifiable experience
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- Must possess the tools of the trade
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
