What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwright / Pipefitter position at Edge Outdoors?
We are currently hiring Millwright / Pipefitters. Applicants should have a variety of skills and experience in the industrial Sector. We prefer our employees to be flexible in working a variety of trades within our shop.
Millwright / Pipefitter Responsibilities:
- Fitting up a variety of piping systems to include: Flange pipe, screw pipe, victaulic pipe
- Assembly of pumps, motors and various mechanical devices
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Steel Fabrication: Drilling, Measuring, Cutting (Torch & Saw) and general layout work.
- SMAW Welding of structural Steel
- Constructs foundation & shells for projects
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs
- Moves machinery and equipment using proper rigging techniques via hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks
- Knowledge of Rigging
Millwright / Pipefitter Qualifications:
- 5 Years Previous verifiable experience
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- Must possess the tools of the trade
- MUST be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check as well as randoms.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
Compensation for Millwright / Pipefitter :
- $500 Sign on Bonus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
