Maintenance Support Specialist 2

Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Support Specialist 2 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Per diem: Available for those who qualify.
Location: 100% Onsite (preferred), TA3 in Otowi 261 building
Group/Organization: MSS deployed to LADPI LA-P4
Work Schedule: 4/10s M-Tr
Positions Available: 1
Clearance: Able obtain and maintain “Q” and HRP

Summary:
Develops, monitors, and validates accuracy, and auditing of performance data, reports, and other statistical information. Maintains database and other programs as required for use in the development of performance measurements and other required data administration. Evaluates processes, programs, and procedures for potential improvements. Develops and maintains maintenance policies, processes, procedures and provides training in support of the conduct of maintenance programs.

Strategic Communication: Ability to professionally communicate elements of construction and project management processes to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical staff, in both verbal and written formats.

Business Processes and Systems: Full understanding of and experience with policy and strategy performance assurance, metrics, including policy and procedure development, implementation, and enforcement. Working knowledge of and experience with document control and records management, and a clear understanding of work hazards, safety practice policies and procedures. Basic knowledge of Laboratory business and maintenance program systems; the Laboratory’s quality assurance policies, practices, and procedures, the legal requirements and environmental impacts affecting maintenance management.

Technical Competency: Substantiated and direct experience performing work using any computerized LANL facility management tools that may include Footprints, Asset Suite, EDRMS, etc.

Education:
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
