Overview:
The software Engineer will build computer software systems, participating in the design process from beginning to end, including IP based solutions.. The Engineer, will research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution for company. This position comes with the potential opportunity for growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for platform installation, daily administration, technical support, and maintaining consistent configuration -- with particular focus on automation technologies and DevOps.
• Provide 2nd level support. Operationally manage and support the infrastructure and its associated components and applications.
• Proactively monitor systems and platforms for performance, availability, and capacity management while ensuring that solution and component escalations are minimized.
• Ensure high level of reliability in promptly responding to requests, resolving incidents, and managing changes.
• Perform all administrative processes and procedures to ensure that the solutions and components meet defined SLOs for availability and performance.
• Ensure procedures, processes, and documentation are in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational standards.
• Relevant concepts of project management are understood, implemented, and followed. These include request management, incident management, change management, qualification and validation.
Required Skills:
- 5 yrs hands-on experience as a dev-ops engineer.
- Expert in common AWS services (EC2, S3, Route 53, Lambda, Cloudwatch, RDS, VPC, Elasticache, etc.).
- Fluent in Terraform, CloudFormation, or orchestration tools.
- Fast & proficient at Linux CLI.
- Can write clean, simple, commented code.
- Be a hard worker and help us crank out high-quality dev-ops daily as an individual contributor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Chrome Extension JAVA script
- Ability to develop chrome extensions
- Data Warehouse: familiarity with data ingestion and engineering functionality.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of three years of Software Engineering experience
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum
