Who we’re looking for:
The eCommerce Strategy Manager will play a key role on the Ecommerce team leading a high-performing team in planning and owning the merchandising strategy, management of web promotions, and product discovery initiatives. This individual will be responsible for driving homepage and category page messaging and visuals, and maintaining a promotion and strategy calendar leveraging both new and past year tactics. The ideal candidate is data driven, but creative enough to think outside the “basket”.
How you’ll make an impact:

Execute online merchandising efforts such as product categorization, search strategies and product content, etc.

Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with our finance, creative, and innovation teams to plan and execute website promotions with adequate lead time

Manage all products for both web and our POS: adding new products and merchandising according to seasonality, marketing messages etc.

Develop strategies and tactics to drive volume, customer engagement, and profit for respective categories on Edible.com

Actively analyze the business to provide meaningful insights into performance – assessing category, customer, and shopping behavior through the digital channel

Launch promotions: working with the creative services and technology teams to get the appropriate marketing messages, products, categories, and landing pages uploaded to the site

Maintain correct product assortment and adjusts daily/weekly

Coordinate category specific initiatives to drive revenue

Monitor and conduct site audits for accuracy

Analyze data daily to optimize the customer experience and make suggestions/take action to improve conversion rate

Work with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure execution of seasonal launches

Manage and provide career development for your team
And here’s what we think you’re like:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or relevant area

Applicants should have 2-4 years of business experience, preferably in ecommerce
-
Ability to effectively manage through and deliver upon competing priorities, demonstrating change agility.

Exceptional communication, prioritizing, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to teamwork among other associates

Systems savvy, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
-
Hands-on experience with an ecommerce platform

Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc)

Candidates with experience in fast-paced customer service environments like food service or retail are highly desirable

Must be able to connect dots from issue to resolution, both directly and indirectly, then make recommendations

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a cross-functional environment

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves
