Purpose & Impact:
As an M&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes to support the growth of Edible Brands.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.
What that looks like day to day:
Financial Modeling:
- Develop detailed financial models to assess the feasibility and potential returns of property and business acquisitions
- Analyze and interpret financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant data to evaluate the financial health of potential investments
Due Diligence:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective properties and businesses, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and risk evaluation
- Collaborate with legal and other relevant teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and economic indicators that may impact property and business investments
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to support investment strategies
Risk Assessment:
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with property and business acquisitions
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide recommendations to ensure the preservation of capital and achievement of financial objectives
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and investment metrics
- Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making processes
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and investment teams, to gather relevant information and ensure a comprehensive analysis
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and family stakeholders
Required Experience and Essential Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field
- Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus
- Experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably with a focus on property and business acquisitions
- Knowledge of real estate markets, business valuation techniques, and investment principles
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Skilled in reviewing financial statements, legal documents, contracts, and other relevant information to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information and insights to various stakeholders, both within the organization and external parties.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
