Purpose: 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that meet our business objectives. You will collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to create robust, scalable, and innovative architecture. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise, a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Ecommerce application/solution design, as well as system integration across cloud environments. 

What that looks like day to day: 
 

• Requirement Analysis

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, and technical requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to define system architecture and design solutions that align with client needs.

• Solution Design

• Develop comprehensive, scalable, and secure solution architectures.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and design documents.

• Technology Stack Selections

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet project requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the selection of optimal solutions.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions. Own the solution from concept to delivery. 
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure architectural consistency and adherence to best practices.

• Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and challenges in proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend solutions to address potential issues.

• Client Consultation

• Engage with clients to present and explain proposed solutions, addressing technical concerns and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Participate in client workshops and presentations to gather feedback and refine designs.

• Technical Leadership

• Serve as a technical authority and mentor for the implementation team, providing guidance on best practices and architectural principles.
• Be the client sounding board for technology solutions.

 What you’ll need:

• 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture
• Proven track record of integrating third-party solutions to e-commerce platforms is a must
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API designs
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, frameworks, and technologies
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Ability to work under indirect supervision.
• Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
• Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills.
• Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically
• Experience using Jira/Confluence
• Vendor management
• Knowledge on cloud computing platforms (Azure Preferably)
• Hands on experience with integration architecture patterns, API/ webservices technologies and enterprise messaging patterns both pre-designed or custom
• Experience with data exchange design patterns: real time, near real time, batch, etc.
