Overview

The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is seeking a talented and committed intern to support the portfolio of projects and programs in our investor relations area. This internship is from June through August and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week. 

 

EEI is the trade association for all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. Our office is located in the heart of Penn Quarter, on Pennsylvania Avenue between the U.S. Capitol Building and the White House.  

 

This is a paid internship.

  • Undergraduate Students: $17 per hour
  • Graduate Students: $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation for various meetings and conferences.
  • Research, analyze, and summarize both broad and specific issues across and on behalf of EEI member companies.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Enrolled in, or having recently completed, an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Communications, Business, Environment, Engineering, or related area.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple work streams, ability to complete tasks on time, self-motivation.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Web research skills and resourcefulness.
  • Ability and desire to learn.
