As the Senior Ecommerce Site Merchandiser, you will help to grow SCUF’s direct-to-consumer business by driving a best-in-class consumer experience in line with our business objectives.
You will focus on optimizing the merchandising for scufgaming.com, ensuring we’re adapting both our site and product presentation to the needs of consumers. You will identify friction points along the consumer journey and focus on an optimal experience that combines both content and commerce. Additionally, you will lead the charge for identifying and driving site improvements through web data analysis and responding to KPIs.
The candidate should have a strong eCommerce sensibility, and a desire to get hands-on in both product and consumer experience. Working closely with our internal teams across multiple departments, the role will drive best-in-class user experience and conversion through browse/buy behaviors. You will also be accountable for the digital product catalog and development of onsite merchandising tools.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute the optimization strategy for SCUF’s web experiences, with focus on specific consumer journeys, ensuring we’re driving incremental revenue growth.
· Optimize product pages to provide the best possible customer experience and enhance the SCUF brand while improving conversion.
· Drive sell-thru through with a focus on onsite search, sorting rules, product placement, evergreen content, page content, product content, and site configurations.
· Plan and execute the site calendar; tracking engagement with content and leveraging insights to drive customer engagement optimizations.
· Maintain quality and accuracy of online merchandising, navigation, product categorization, bundling, cross-sells, product removal, and link management.
· Report and analyze Key Performance Indicators and category performance on a weekly basis.
· Work with planning partners to help develop e-commerce forecasts that align to in-stock targets and business expectations.
· Work with the marketing department to ensure the site appropriately communicates key messages, tying back to email, social, brand stories, and buyers’ seasonal strategies.
· Suggest and define relevant AB tests to maximize consumer experience and conversion.
· Analyze consumer insights to influence product assortment and pricing, as well as future onsite marketing and merchandising decisions.
Qualifications:
· 3 – 5 years of progressive Ecommerce Merchandising experience preferred
· Prior managerial/supervisory experience
· A keen eye for design and strong interest in translating our brand aesthetic through Site Merchandising
· Demonstrated knowledge of web functionality and proficiency in web analytic tools such as GA or Adobe Analytics
· Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills
· Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and to make decisions to implement
· Decisive with the ability to listen to differing points of view and determine an appropriate solution to drive the best customer experience
· Able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines while delivering resolutions
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Ecommerce, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.
