Summary
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for communicating the vision of the organization, through the development of creative content from early concept stages to finished production. They will be responsible for promoting the company and its products or services, across a variety of multimedia channels. The Senior Graphic Designer will support the company vision, branding and product marketing, by analyzing industry and competitor trends or as directed by the President and VP of marketing. The Senior Graphic Designer will apply art, design and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional, branding materials, social & print media, along with other printed and digital materials as necessary. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and will provide excellent customer service through their collaboration and communication with team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Designs, creates, and produces visual concepts for digital and printed materials
- Collaborate with Sales Team and/or Customers to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
- Understands and upholds branding concept, design quality and brand identity in the development of Marketing materials and will be the primary point of contact for brand identity compliance.
- Create original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified branded method. Revising, editing, and proofreading content as needed.
- Uses artistic judgment to select appropriate composition, design, and layout for each illustration.
- Schedules social media content to coordinate; support of key production introductions, seasonal sales / product trends, or industry events.
- Manages the creative for the company website and all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- Assists in the creative planning, execution and communication of major tradeshows.
- Tracks social media metrics, and reports on effectiveness of content using appropriate analytics.
- Choose graphics, art and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with photoshop or similar creative tools.
- Routinely audits, customers websites, marketplaces and print media to ensure brand identity standards are being adhered to.
- Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to appropriate departments for review; makes revisions as necessary.
- Assists in the management of all digital assets, including photos, spec sheets, brochures, catalogs, etc.
- Supports sales team with information requests and creates marketing collateral as needed.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of print processes, digital photography, color correction, photo retouching and manipulation. Creating / editing photography or videography is a plus.

- At least 5-10 years of related work experience highly preferred.
- Must provide a portfolio of previously designed exemplar materials.
- Extensive knowledge of print, electronic, and graphics media.
- Superior artistic and design skills.
- Extremely proficient in image editing and digital animation and illustration software such as Adobe Creative Suite or other graphics software.
- Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the Sales Department, President or Customer.
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team or work independently on an assignment/project.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
