About the Position
This is a .4 FTE continuing position for a Special Education, Learning Support Teacher at Edmonds Woodway High School. This position will begin at the start of the 2022-23 school year.
NOTE: Per Governor Jay Inslee's proclamation on August 18, 2021, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications:
Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Special Education, or the ability to obtain one prior to the position start date.

Salary:
2021-22 Salary Schedule range: $69,131.00 through $124,959.00. Placement on this salary schedule is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying Educational Level and Certificated Work Experience and will be prorated for less than a full year and/or FTE.
Benefits:
Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .5 FTE continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .6 FTE contract (continuing or non-continuing). Exceptions may be made for certain job share and/or leave replacement situations.
