Salary $45,000 year
Greet and assist job seekers and provide administrative support to customers in need of PA CareerLink® services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors in a prompt and friendly manner
- Direct visitors to the appropriate area, services, or staff
- Provide information regarding all PA CareerLink® Delaware County partners in a knowledgeable and pleasant manner
- Support customers in accessing the PA CareerLink® website
- Assist with calling job seekers and reminding them of upcoming recruitment events and job fairs
- Assist jobseekers in utilizing resources in the Career Resource Center
- Assist customers with the development of their resumes in the PA CareerLink® website
- Assist jobseekers with online job search using the PA CareerLink® website
- Provide technical support to customers operating computers, copiers and fax machines, and virtual workshops via Webex, Teams, or Zoom
- Assist jobseekers in Pa CareerLink® registration and completing employer applications
- Assist the Business Services Team with coordinating recruitments, information, and appointments.
- Assist the CareerLink® with coordinating and supporting events and job fairs
- Provide information to jobseekers about PA CareerLink® services and the services and refer to staff for other agencies and organizations
- Other opportunities as available
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer Service experience required
- Experience in answering inquiries in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- HS Diploma required
