Are you goal driven? Then the Community Outreach Coordinator position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.
As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect participants to available services and to aid individuals who need further assistance.
Responsibilities
Successful Elements:
- Meet with agencies to build a positive, collaborative working relationship
- Meet with educational institutions to learn about their programs and services
- Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
- Work with the Career Advisors to determine if additional partner agencies/employers are desired to meet the needs of our customers
- Disseminate information about our program to community-based organizations
- Actively communicate with, and update, community-based organizations on our program
- Act as liaison between various departments to meet customer needs
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Experience in human services, sales, training, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required
