Scope of Position:
- Responsible for the development and dissemination of digital media content for the PA CareerLink® Philadelphia website, social media accounts, and digital monitors.
- Creates and edits content that represents the PA CareerLink® brand and engages the PA CareerLink® Philadelphia customer base, promotes success stories, and highlights local, regional, and statewide employment and training opportunities.
- Manages, maintains, and keeps track of the analytical outcomes of PA CareerLink® Philadelphia’s social media accounts and adjust strategies according to user engagement trends and goals.
- Serves at team lead for Hired!, PA CareerLink® Philadelphia’s monthly newsletter
- Supports partners throughout Philadelphia’s public workforce system by adding value and aligning their outreach materials to career seekers with PA CareerLink® Philadelphia’s brand standards.
- Serves as photographer and point of contact for media during PA CareerLink® Philadelphia hosted hiring events.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare outreach/marketing material for any PA CareerLink® services and events, virtual and in-person, using a creative and innovative approach
- Create, develops, and gathers content to publish on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms as approved by funder
- Manage the publication of system success story materials, which includes capturing video/photo/narrative content on each story, and publishing stories on appropriate platforms
- Create relevant, up-to-date digital signage at all PA CareerLink® centers
- Edit flyers, digital videos, and photos as requested to ensure all material meet PA CareerLink® branding standards
- Develop successful relationships with larger PA CareerLink® Philadelphia staff and communication champions to gather content for social media, review promotional content, and video projects
- Implement project management skills, tools, and methods to drives system initiatives and positive outcomes
- Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Works close with funder’s Manager of Communications and Outreach to drive engagement and positive outcomes systemwide.
Required Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, digital marketing, public relations, communication, or related area- Solid project management, written and verbal communication, and technology skills
- Proficient in videography/photography
- Working knowledge of Canva
- Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Photoshop
- Advanced social media skills, including SEO, content editorial management, and analytics
- Intermediate level in MS Office
- Intermediate level in digital video and photo editing software
- Strong attention to detail
