Job Description:
Scope of Position
- Responsible for billing, payment allocations, collections and period ending reports.
Essential Functions
- Assist with Accounts Payable
- Match and verify invoice with purchase order
- Contact vendor as needed regarding discrepancies
- Enter invoices into accounting systems
- File and process invoices for payment and reimbursement
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Prepare monthly invoice and required back up
- Input invoices into accounting system
- Enter cash receipts into accounting system
- Maintain aging list of open invoices
- Contact customer when invoices are outstanding
- Implement and coordinate use of Concur Invoice for processing ITA’s and Participant Reimbursements
- Further implement Concur and other software solutions to all Project Accountants to increase efficiency and compliance in all programs
- Work with Program Manager and Regional Director to track and evaluate program performance
- Act as intermediary between operations and Fiscal staff for processing and reconciling participant expenses and performance
- Perform miscellaneous assignments requested by Controller
Experienced in applying accounting principles
- Must have working knowledge of “standard” software packages used at EDSI.
- Good interpersonal skills
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
