Full Stack Developer

• Software Developer is a Full Stack Developer with knowledge in .NET, C#, WPF, XAML, Azure, MVVM, C and SQL. The position requires the applicant to be proficient with modern web technologies, particularly HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap. The Software Developer will design/develop new applications as well as support existing applications in order to meet EMS' quality standards. It is critical for this position to understand business/client needs. This role is on site at our Wayne, PA location, fully remote candidates will not be considered.

• Essential Functions
• Designing and implementing high-performance code for new UI components in an Agile development environment
• Finding ways to innovate and improve usability; providing additional benefits to customers while reducing complexity
• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends in web development
• Helping to define User Stories and the visual design of a new UI
• Audio/Video processing concepts and hardware integration is a plus
• PRISM/MVVM experience is a plus
• JavaScript/Web development experience is a plus.
• Investigating and troubleshooting data and user related system errors
• Participating in code reviews, automated test creation, and manual testing when needed

• SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Proficient with modern web technologies, particularly HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap
• Efficiency with database design and SQL Server
• Experience developing in current Microsoft technologies
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Great communication skills, work ethic and willingness to be a team player
• Attention to detail and quality of work

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• BS in Computer Science
• Visual C and MFC experience
• Knowledge of modern web based front-end development (C#, JavaScript, REST, MVVM, HTML5)
