Educators Resource is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. If you are an ambitious go-getter, we could be the company for you.

Full time; Non-Exempt

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Audit invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies and process invoices for payment.
• Monitor all vendor payment terms and or discounts.
• Request and Reconcile Statements.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Maintain historical records.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as required.

Experience and Education

• Associate degree in accounting preferred
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience

• Communicate person to person, on the phone and in group settings as needed.
• Accurately type and enter data and view computer screens for long periods of time.
