JOB PURPOSE: Oversees all technical, functional and application guidance and support for CSUSA. Ensures all users receive services to include troubleshooting hardware and software issues; installation and support of OS (Operating Systems) and supports OS; applications for PCs, laptops and all mobile devices. Ensures proper and timely set-up and configuration of all new machines as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain system availability of critical and non-essential business systems
  • Provide customer support through onsite presence and remote access.
  • Monitor support requests to determine larger-scale issues.
  • Inform supervisor of any issue out of the scope or skill range of Technician promptly
  • Maintain disaster recovery and prevention procedures.
  • Participate, successfully, in the training programs offered to increase the individual’s skill and proficiency related to the assignments.
  • Review current developments, literature and technical sources of information related to job responsibility.
  • Ensure adherence to good safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by Technician Supervisor.
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.

  12. Sets up new employees with technical devices and access including, network access, resources, etc.
  13. Responsible for set-up of all technological and audio-visual needs for CSUSA such as events, Board and/or staff meetings, interviews, training and/or webinars. Facilitates timely preparation prior to events and continuous support during and thereafter.
  14. Provides technical support for the various websites.
  15. Responsible for print server management and administration.
  16. Manages CSUSA SharePoint intranet. Meets with clients and provides customization to individual SharePoint sites for business purposes.
  17. Serves as the SharePoint Content manager for CSUSA. Provides technical support and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
  18. Facilitates efficient installation, configuration, upgrade and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • CompTIA A Certification Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology field and two (2) years of experience in the field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Strong technical ability.
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites as If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance that meets the minimum standards of the State.
  • Experience with complex systems and/or in an educational environment preferred; mastery in Student Information System (SIS) and other software used in the organization.
  • Commitment to company values.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm.
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • No physical exertion

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENTS

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.
