Responsibilities:
Providing the highest level of customer service to EdVenture’s visitors.
Ensuring exhibit areas are re-set between visitor interactions.
Interacting with visitors to enhance their play and learning experience.
Operating admission procedures to include checking-in visitors, handling gift shop sales, and opening and closing register till.
Maintaining cleanliness of the exhibits, common areas, and restrooms.
Assisting with the delivery of monthly lab programs.
Gently reminding visitors of safety concerns and procedures.
Qualifications:
Must enjoy engaging with children and families.
Keen listener with ability to address visitor concerns and de-escalate issues.
Must have a commitment to diversity and work as a team player.
Exhibit a positive and friendly demeanor and maintain a professional appearance.
High School diploma, preferred.
Experience in guest services, education or museum operations strongly preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift
Weekends as needed
