Work closely with Senior Product Leader and/or General Partner to develop and execute the firm's Financial Advice and Planning Specialist Desks which are tiered to support and respond to segmentation needs. These 'desks' allow Financial Advisors to call in with a client-specific situation or need and will allow for broadening of complete wealth management services advisors deliver to clients, while also extending branch team capacity to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Participate in the design and development of innovative Advice Specialist Desks service that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Gather data and insights and conduct review of advanced complexity that inform strategy and development.
Responsible for Advice Specialist Desks product partner relationships of significant size, complexity, number or impact in order to: Shape and drive execution of business plans that align with firm strategic direction
Assist in the design of efficient and effective ongoing processes and controls.
Influence the design and development of integrated platforms, systems, tools and processes that create a better client and branch team experience
Resolve complex / broad APPS issues and integration points as escalated. Establish root cause and apply systems thinking to prevent future occurrences.
Regularly interface with Wealth Management Advice & Solutions peers
Assist in the coordination and alignment of Business Architecture activities
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Advice Specialist Desk. Will meet with Financial Advisors specific to financial planning and investment analytics. Includes advanced knowledge of multiple product partner products, features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace.
Understand and interpret rules and potential rule changes in the tax, legal and regulatory environment for the product line. Make recommendations that help shape the firm position with respect to tax, legal and regulatory issues for these products/programs.
Head significant additional responsibilities specific to the team or area (Eg. recruiting, training, product partner coordination, wholesaler effectiveness)
Manage broad division, firm, or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in alignment with firm strategy (Eg. cross-divisional projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)
Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the product line while minimizing risk to clients and the firm.
Mentor team members and assist in the ongoing development of their subject matter expertise.
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree required with preferred disciplines (E.g. business, finance, economics, accounting, math, engineering, actuarial science, etc.).
Series 7, 66 required within 12 months of hire.
Progress toward advanced degree and/or relevant industry designations preferred
CFA & CFP preferred
Experience:7 years of relevant financial services experience, capital markets and securities experience preferred.
