Description
E&E Foods is a vertically integrated primary producer and supplier of wild Alaskan fin fish. We own and operate processing plants in Renton and Federal Way, Washington as well as shore-side processing plants in Yakutat, Bristol Bay and Kenai, Alaska.
E&E Foods is launching a search for a Chief Operating Officer. This individual will be a strategic and dynamic leader who is responsible for the Company's day to day Operating Activities, including but not limited to Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance, Personnel Management, Corporate Risk Management, Legal and Litigation Management and Licensing and Permitting.
Requirements
• Assist the Senior Vice President of Renton on capital projects, plant utilization and cost efficiencies.
• Assist the Director of HR on recruitment and hiring practices, health & safety and H.R. polices and compliance.
• Manage the company risk management program in coordination with company insurance broker.
• Manage all company legal matters and litigation with assistance of Company outside counsel.
• Manage the VP of Alaska Operations, direct and manage all plant operations in accordance with the facilities capacities.
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, forms and policy related company activities.
• Source and assist in managing, negotiating and conducting due diligence on Mergers and Acquisitions activities for the Company.
• Work with the CFO to develop annual plant financials and capital budgets.
• Work with the Corporate QC Director to ensure company quality specifications and SOPs are at industry standard. Ensure al HACCP, ARFM and MSC program documentation and certification are current and in compliance.
• Ensure product and plant compliance to government regulations, stay current with latest government regulations and company contacts for all regulatory agencies.
The successful candidate will:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in in Business, Operations, Accounting or Administration, or a related field. Have broad knowledge in the seafood industry and advanced knowledge in a specialized field. Master's degree preferred.
SALARY & BENEFITS: The salary range for this position is $200,000-$275,000 commensurate with experience.
