Job Description
EEtility is seeking a BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified Energy Analyst to join our professional team! The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, hardworking, reliable, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will thrive in a collaborative office environment. EEtility Energy Analysts (EA’s) are responsible for taking raw data received from field level team members and using auditing software to model potential energy efficiency savings opportunities to determine the most cost-effective Scope of Work for the people who reside there. Office EA’s work closely with field level data collectors who are EEtility team members and/or whom may work for other program operators. On the job training and support will be provided.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Energy data analysis and processing to understand energy usage
- Identify, evaluate, and calculate energy improvements to facilitate energy reduction modeling
- Use of proprietary software to facilitate the creation of energy models to simulate existing
and proposed operations of buildings or systems
- Work collaboratively with the team to identify and evaluate the scope of potential improvements.
- Develop life cycle cost analyses of recommended energy efficiency improvements
- Coordinate with; Building Science Lead, participants, program contractors and field data collectors during all stages of analysis if/when needed (for added clarity/guidance)
- Review and analyze data collected at a participant’s home, alongside their utility usage history and upgrade costs in order to create the most cost effective, energy efficient Scope of Work for that participant’s home
Qualifications, Experience, Education, and Licenses
- High School diploma or GED (required)
- Certified Building Performance Institute Building Analyst (BPI-BA (Building Performance Institute Building Analyst)) or RESNET HERS rater or equivalent (required)
- Deep field knowledge and experience with blower door testing (required)
- Associate degree or higher education (preferred)
- 2-4 years of energy modeling experience (preferred)
- 2-4 years of energy efficiency or weatherization related experience (preferred)
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Experienced and comfortable utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- General knowledge of HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems
- Effective written/verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Strong data analysis and entry skills
- Knowledge and understanding of residential building systems
- Able to work and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to present analytical findings to top- or low-level entities or people
- Passion for saving energy and conserving our planets resources is a plus
Physical Demands, Productivity and Position Administrative Requirements
- General work shift is; 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (8a-5p) with 1 hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks.
· Meet high quality daily /weekly productivity deliverables once training is complete
· This position may be subject to an initial and continued random drug screening test
· Willing to travel and provide field level support as needed (up to 10% of the time - rare)
· Continual communication within house Building Science Officer should be expected
· Willingness/Ability (internet) to work from home, if directed to do so (rare)

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
