EF Capital is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm located in Norfolk,
Virginia. We design, build and manage all of our investments through our integrated businesses.
The position of Procurement Specialist will be a crucial part of the team and will have a diverse set of responsibilities. This position will get firsthand experience in real estate projects from conception all the way through operations.
As an EF Capital Procurement Specialist, you will be the first hire of our centralized procurement department, helping to mold and drive our procurement process into the future. Exceptional candidates will see high growth opportunities as the business scales.
Our Requirements:
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a b achelor’s degree in purchasing, business administration or a closely related field
- Ideal candidates have a minimum of one year of related procurement experience, with a proven track record of professional skills
- Highly organized
- Strategic and mental agility
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications

Responsibilities:
- Manage and facilitate EF Capital procurement process with various teams using procurement software, from order request to receiving on-site / warehouse.
- Maintain up to date catalogs of materials in procurement software and p ropose changes to products to better fit the goals of our investments.
- Coordinate and resolve product issues with the project team.
- Research and document the best vendors/products for project goals.
- Work directly with the Owner to document and define best procurement practices and present them to teams to ensure efficiency.
- Work with the design team to ensure products specified on future projects incorporate procurement best practices.
- Project Startup Assistance for Construction PMs
- Coordinate project turnover to operations
- Gather and manage project closeout docs and O&Ms
- Manage warranty information for projects in operations
- Inventory management of products not installed on-site.
- Coordinate with accounting on vendor payments and job coding for each order.

Compensation:
S alary: $ 45,000 - 60,000/YR
Vacation: 2 weeks year 1, 3 weeks year 2. Accrued per pay period.
Sick: 1 week. Accrued per pay period.
Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor
D ay, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
Health & Dental: Covered by company.
Flexible Office / WFH schedule options after 3 month training period.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
