Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Sales revenue/supply share and the position of EFTEC in area of responsibility
- Realization of approvals and introduction of new technologies/products in the plants of responsibility
- Realization of the sales and market development strategy in the plants of responsibility according to the defined goals of the ac-count
- Utilization of all possible sales potentials in the plants in the region
- Securing an unproblematic day-to-day business in the region, and ensuring adequate EFTEC material is on the floor at customer plants. Definition of customer requirements as input for development projects; maintain and communicate Customer specification requirements
- Assist in preparing GM weekly and monthly meeting activity as well as assuring that issues from the meeting are documented and completed per agreed to timing.
- Understand and follow all appropriate EFTEC processes (PPAP, Customer Concerns, APQP, etc.)
- Identification and definition of customer requirements and trends for sales strategies or development projects communicated clearly to other departments, including updates as required
- Coordination of all required actions for the timely achievement of product approvals from the process departments
- Arrangement of line trials in the plants within the region of responsibility as a base for supply
- Establishing and maintaining all relevant customer contacts in the plants of responsibility
- Supports other Profit centers and partners with approval support and other means
- All other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
- All other duties, tasks as assigned by their Manager.
- Position will report to Key Account Manager, and will have dotted line to VP of sales for special projects and PM related items
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S in Business Degree or related field preferred.
- 6 years of experience customer technical support highly preferred.
- At lease 6 years of Project Management Experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry
- Strong Leadership Experience and Skills
- Excellent Organizational, Oral, and written communication skills.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite. QAD or other Systems experience preferred.
- PMP preferred
Physical Requirement
- Prolonged periods walking, sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
