 About The Position: 

This role is within our Product Development team and will have responsibility for project managing new products from concept to completion. The project manager is responsible for bringing together the different stakeholders within the organization to design, develop, test and launch new products within the automotive industry. We are looking to build and maintain a high performing team and have several Project Manager roles available within the department.

On a daily basis you will be activity working closely with our Engineering team, CAD designers, Sales Team and Customer/Supplier stakeholders. The role will also see you liaising directly with both Internal and External stakeholders around the globe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program management of international & domestic manufactured products for US automotive market.
• Assisting with technical development reports and product briefs for projects.
• Assisting with the development of project designs and technical research or other special projects in accordance with design briefs.
• Co-ordinate testing per customer requirements through 3rd party vendors.
• Evaluating fitment of parts and site validation with customers.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed for projects.
• Communicating with international and domestic tier two suppliers for development and supply.
• Creating product development plans that are efficiently and effectively maintained through out the development process.
• Creating and maintaining PPAP and APQP documentation,
• Observing and practicing quality system requirements.
• Preparing and maintaining component and product drawing systems.
• Preparing detailed reports as required by supervisor.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous job duties, as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and techniques.
• Effective planning & organizing skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/duties
• Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, NX, Catia, Adobe Suite).
• Effective problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor, conduct, and working relationship with peers, management, employees, and other individuals that interact with this position.
• Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties/responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate;

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent automotive experience in an accredited college/university;
• Automotive and Manufacturing experience in plastic products and processing (or similar non automotive field);
• Two (2) or more years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment; or
• Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
