EHC is currently looking for a CMM Programmer for a client located in Orange, TX.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE

Position Purpose/Summary:
The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer, located in a climate-controlled facility in Orange, TX, is committed to supporting our client as they continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feed block quality and technology by creating and running inspection programs and supporting the ongoing calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to program and operate CMM equipment.
- Setup and perform basic CMM operations and maintenance. Troubleshoot CMM issues on multiple production parts to assure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Record inspection data and produce inspection reports as required in a legible format.
- Prioritize and sequence inspection work to be executed to meet production schedules with high efficiency.
- Work with Manufacturing, Engineering and CNC Programming to resolve issues that may arise with inspection results.
- Read and understand engineering prints.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
At a minimum, the CMM Programmer must have
- A high school diploma, or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as an inspector/CMM operator/programmer
- Proven knowledge of basic inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) and Metrology and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) related to CMM systems. Hexagon PC DMIS, aerospace inspection
- 2 years of experience as a Class 1 machinist or CNC operator is preferred.
