EHC is currently looking for a Nuclear Quality Manager in the Shreveport, LA area.
Job Description:
This is a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of the Client's Nuclear Quality Assurance program and establishment of a nuclear safety culture. This individual will report directly to the Corporate Quality Director, with dotted line responsibilities to the site Quality Manager and will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development, implementation and oversight of the Nuclear ASME Section III/NQA-1 program, nuclear personnel indoctrination and training program.
The Nuclear Program QA Manager will assist the site Quality Manager and drive development of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes that meet APP Nuclear Quality Program requirements, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The Nuclear Program QA Manager will work closely with functional management of engineering, safety, quality and project management and procurement to ensure project adherence to client and design specifications and compliance to all applicable ASME requirements and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing the APP Nuclear Quality Assurance Manual, policies, procedures, forms and work instructions.
- Lead, mentor, develop and manage a team focused on establishing and implementing all phases of the nuclear safety culture.
- Collaborate with senior management, engineering, project management, operations, and procurement to identify, prioritize, and address questions and concerns regarding the nuclear safety culture training and protocols.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain the Approved Suppliers List (ASL) and Audit Schedule, Lead and participate planned and scheduled internal audits, surveillances, and assessments of suppliers, nuclear facilities and job sites to ensure compliance with established regulatory, client, project quality and safety standards.
- Establish membership with NIAC, work with the QA team to schedule and perform supplier audits and surveillances.
- Develop format for the Nuclear Program ASL. Monitor accuracy and maintenance of supplier and services data ensuring timely and accurate completion of required audits.
- Manage relationships with external regulatory agencies and certification partner., inspections, and certifications.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action planning for project quality and safety issues, ensuring effective resolution and prevention of future occurrences.
- Support the Director of Quality in maintaining ASME certificates and administration of the nuclear ASME program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred in Engineering, Quality Management, Nuclear Science, Applied Science or equivalent experience.
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be a Certified NQA-1 auditor with a minimum of 3 years as a Lead Auditor.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC or related roles, with at least 7 years in a leadership/management position within the nuclear industry.
- Extensive knowledge of ASME Section III, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, Commercial Grade Quality and Supplier Quality for Nuclear project fabrication and construction.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing QA/QC strategies and driving safety and quality improvements in a nuclear environment.

- Proficiency in MS word, Excel, Power point and other relevant software tools and applications, such as quality management systems, platforms data analysis tools, and regulatory compliance programs.
