What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at EHC?
EHC is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a client located in South Houston.
Our client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team to conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
- Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to enter data into report
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months experience
- Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
- Forklift experience
- Must be able to do simple math
- Ability to interpret technical product specs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)
First Shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Environment: Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the workday.
Safety boots required.
Salary : $16 - $18
