Job Description:

Our open Clinical Educator role would see you delivering training and education to healthcare professionals on a targeted temperature management device primarily used in Critical Care units. Your primary focus will be in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities, and this position is a great opportunity to make an impact in healthcare and improve patient outcomes through education for healthcare professionals.

• Per-diem position requiring travel to different healthcare facilities, with flexibility to work with existing PRN or Part-Time schedules
• 1-2 assignments per month, ranging 1-3 days per assignment. Travel locally and regionally to support customer needs
• Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments

Responsibilities:

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations
• Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
• Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device
• Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments
• Administrative tasks as required, such as submitting time, expenses, and booking travel arrangements (if needed), and sharing availability to facilitate scheduling

Job Requirements - Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) required
• ICU experience as an RN of 2-3 years required, ER/IMCU experience will be considered if candidates are comfortable with targeted temperature management devices used for more complex critical care applications
• Experience using targeted temperature management devices in critical care settings required

Job Requirements – Additional:

• Must be comfortable with basic software programs
• Ability to travel locally and regionally. The majority of assignments will be local, with some potential for occasional regional assignments within driving distance
• Ability to work in a group setting and possess strong professional acumen
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending or kneeling may be required
• Must be comfortable presenting to groups 
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated

The potential base pay range for this role is $43.00-47.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
