Job Overview
As an Assurance Intern, you would become an integral member of our Assurance practice, interacting with all members of the team, and attending all office meetings and functions. You would be applying your education along with in-house training to a variety of on-the-job experiences while being introduced to specific audit and accounting software programs and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with audit testing
- Prepare compilation, review, audit, and other assurance reports and financial statements
- Prepare various financial statement disclosures and supplemental schedules
- Prepare depreciation schedules
- Workpaper preparation for various engagements and testing
- Other assurance and department assistance as needed
Qualifications
Education/Licensing
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university required
- Actively pursuing necessary education credits to become a CPA
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
