Production Supervisor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Manage a talented and diverse team in a fast-paced production environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor the efficiency of daily production based on safety, quality measures, costs, customer service and production performance to meet customer satisfaction

• Maintain a positive attitude with all employees while providing direction as a strong leader

• Promote and develop a team-based working environment

• Responsible for coordination of the production schedule, including all processes of manufacturing

• Deeply involved in the day-to-day activities with the ability to assist production as needed

• Knowledge of, or willing to learn basic SMT/AOI programing concepts and machine adjustments for day to-day operations

• Proactively identify and communicate quality issues and concerns; actively pursues resolution of issues by utilizing all resources

• Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires

• Provide training to accomplish the company goals and objectives

• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong leadership capabilities

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with a team or independently as needed

• Must be able to work in a standing/walking or seated position for up to 8 hours per day

• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check

• Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Two or four-year degree preferred

• 2 years of experience with electronic assembly required

• Supervisory/Management experience in a manufacturing environment required
