This position is responsible for developing and administering HR-related programs for employees working from multiple states. Core functions include strategic oversight and implementation of recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, policies and employee relations. The HR Director role provides the opportunity to be part of a dynamic leadership team and create something special within an exciting new presidential museum.
Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Business with an emphasis on HR; a SHRM and/or PHR certification preferred. Five years of hands-on experience with HR program development and administration is critical. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to execute compliant HR practices that create a workplace employees want to be part of. Expertise with implementing multi-state employment regulations and the ability to handle employee issues is required. The HR Director will be required to work close to museum which is in Medora, ND.
