We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with experience in a manufacturing environment to join our clients team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the processing of intercompany invoices including reconciling all subsidiary balances.

How you will contribute to the team:
- Prepare details and post journal entries for month-end accruals of unprocessed invoices (MIT).
- Analyze unvouchered account activity, reconciling monthly.
- Audit and process employee expense reports for payment.
- Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist Controller with preparing budgets, financial statements, reconciliations, and yearly audits including bank and financial statement audits.
- Assist with review of vendor invoices for proper sales tax, prepare details and process payment for self-assessment of vendor use tax.
- Prepare reconciliation reports for parent company and subsidiaries.
- Maintain and file all Census requests.
- Perform service call invoicing working with service department as needed.
- Assist with accounts receivable collection calls and letters.
- Cross train and perform various other duties as required.
Requirements/Skills to Be Successful in this Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 - 3 years of intercompany experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP as well as familiarity with IFRS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to interact and collaborate with all levels of the organization along with international subsidiaries on a daily basis.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems .
- Maintain up to date knowledge of GAAP accounting practices.
