85SIXTY is looking for a new team member to join our growing Social Media practice! We are looking for a talented Junior Social Strategist to assist with reporting, listening and strategizing for our social media clients. This role will be responsible for the continual measurement & analysis of social media initiatives for agency clients in collaboration with our social media team. Our reporting is the backbone of our thought-leadership, and is an integral part of our success as a practice. On top of being analytical and naturally curious, the right candidate will have a strong understanding of cultural trends and the ever-changing social landscape. Previous experience in community management, social content creation, influencer marketing, and/or paid social is a bonus!

As such, the right candidate must be driven to achieve excellence, ready to learn new skills, be highly collaborative, and on the cutting edge of social media and digital marketing. This role will be part of our growing social media practice and report directly to the Sr. Social Strategist.
Job Responsibilities:
- Track and report on client data on a scheduled basis (monthly, seasonal, quarterly, etc.) as well as campaigns as needed.
- Assess campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization - to internal and external social teams.
- Consistently evaluate how the 85SIXTY social team reports (KPIs, report design, etc.) using social measurement and social listening tools.
- Communicate directly with clients, including participation in client review meetings. Present social media performance and recommendations directly to clients.
- Work directly with content, website, social media, agency and other teams from client organizations to maximize the effectiveness of social media.
- Research the social media landscape and related digital trends on a consistent basis to develop recommendations that best address and leverage industry changes.
- Assist in the development of strategies and materials for new client presentations.
- Support internal brainstorming process around new client pitches.
- Execute miscellaneous client requests that fall outside reporting and strategy but serve the social space.
Desired Experience/Skills
- Experience with Social Listening and Social Measurement tools (ex: Sprout Social, NetBase, Falcon.io, etc.)
- 1 years working in Social Media role or relevant experience
- Background in social content creation and/or community management.
- Passion for social media, pop culture, and all things digital content. (You are an active user of TikTok!)
- A mix of being naturally curious/analytical creative.
- Advanced knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of social media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reputation Management tools, Blogging Platforms, YouTube & other video platforms.
- Eye for design when building decks (Google Slides)
- Knowledge of/experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics Data Studio) is preferred, but we'll teach you some new stuff.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.)
- Must have strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Agency or professional experience is preferred.
- Experience with influencer marketing and paid social a plus.
