Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Position
The Director of Research Programs is central to the interface of our drug discovery programs, external collaboration, partnerships, and presentations. Collaborating closely with biologists, chemists, pharmacologists, and engineers; they will build research proposals with collaborators, work with project teams to build presentations and project summaries, guide scientific publication efforts and define strategy around scientific programs that have an external interface. As an integral member of our growing research team, they make a direct impact on our drug discovery pipeline and our technology platforms to benefit patients.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the intake and proposal development of research collaborations
- Work with project teams to build clear presentations for drug discovery programs for external meetings
- Oversee our publication process and strategy, work with authors to define story lines, figure outlines and support editorial interactions
- Refine or craft platform presentations for external use, partner with research and engineering teams to expand knowledge of our platform capabilities with appropriate experimental results
- Partner with corporate communications for research-related communications
- Work with research team on preparing study reports and research-related regulatory documents to support clinical development
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
- 10 years of post-graduate experience in microscopy research and/or drug discovery research.
- Expertise with live-cell miscopy, small molecule drug discovery and development, and mechanistic biology.
- Experience interfacing with academic collaborators, pharma partners, investors, and board members
- Strong leadership skills with ability to foster a collaborative environment, maintaining close working relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic research environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this role is $203,000 to $233,000 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
