We are seeking an Associate Platform Analyst who can define, analyze, and document organizational business requirements, and provide configuration and implementation of requirements within a solution platform. Description of Duties:
- Participate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions with clients to determine project requirements.
- Participate in analyzing specific business processes and needs, then producing documentation of the required functionality.
- Supports gap analysis and needs assessments to uncover undocumented business requirements.
- Participate in researching technical and functional solutions to business problems.
- Perform maintenance and administration functions within platform to support business needs including design and testing of configuration changes, scripts, or approved tools.
- Support solution implementation through creation and configuration of platform components including entities, tables, fields, forms, views, reports, and workflows.
- Accountable for self-organization and tracking completion of assigned tasks including successful delivery of assigned project tasks/milestones.
- Utilize delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira as directed by supervisor or project manager.
- Aids in the creation, update, and delivery of end-user training documentation as needed.
- Participates in troubleshooting of system issues by replication of business processes, understanding of system functionality, and root cause analysis.
- Provide declarative configuration work, solution documentation, and related implementation support of platform solutions in applicable technologies.
- Participates in prescribed Scrum ceremonies.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in developing and/or delivering requirements within one or more modern cloud platforms – Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 SharePoint/Teams.
- Desire to work in a functional or technical role related to software delivery or software maintenance/support.
- Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction, documentation and presentations.
- Willingness to learn Microsoft CRM, Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Visio, Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
- Ability to self-manage and complete project deliverables.
- Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented and able to problem solve/analyze.
- Good interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain Functional and/or Technical Certifications as deemed appropriate for specialization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or business administration required.
